Laser Detect Systems Ltd. signed a $295,000 contract to supply its MAYA laser-based mineral scan system to Mosaic Fertilizer LLC for use at its phosphates plant in Florida. The system evaluates the chemical and mineralogical composition of natural or processed ore, while it is still on the conveyor belt.

Laser Detect Systems Ltd. signed on the 30th of April 2009, a $280,000 conditional purchase contract to supply its MAYA laser-based online analyzer for the fertilizer industry to Rotem–Amfert Negev Ltd. a subsidiary of Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL) for use at its phosphates plant in Oron.
